An English style scrumpy (traditional farmhouse cider) for the NW cider palate - authentic but still approachable. Scrumptown is crafted with English cider apple varietals grown at our orchard in Dundee, OR. 8.4% ABV. Available year-round in 500 mL bottles and 1/6 BBL kegs.
Balanced and approachable, Scrumptown is our original blend. It is a mix of just 5 apple varieties - Kingston Black, Porter’s Perfection, Tremlett’s Bitter, Major, and Newtown Pippin. The 8.4% ABV is a natural result of the intense and concentrated quality of the bittersweet apples. Scrumptown is fermented with champagne yeast and lightly back-sweetened with organic cane sugar. The final product is a full-flavored cider with tannin and body to spare; yet it remains enjoyable for the cider traditionalist and novice alike.
